new UK car buyers ready to switch to EVs once prices fall
A new report has revealed that every UK car buyer would choose an electric vehicle if purchase prices matched those of petrol and diesel models.
The “Driving Away From Fossil Fuels” study, commissioned by EV campaign group FairCharge, surveyed 2,000 drivers and found 100% would opt for an EV if costs were equal. The research examined consumer preferences by comparing vehicle attributes, costs, and specifications — with price emerging as the decisive barrier.
