On Monday, FairCharge attended the Parliamentary launch of New Automotive’s report, On the Road to 2030. Held in conjunction with the REA, this event brought together professionals in the EV industry and CPOs to discuss the state of the UK’s charging network.
Sponsored by Andrew Selous MP, the session opened with a summary of the report’s findings and included a panel session, which discussed the UK’s progress making ahead of the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel cars.
FairCharge was delighted to hear the progress the UK is making to meet the target of 300,000 new public chargepoints and the commitment of private enterprise to ensure the charge point rollout. To support this, it is vital the Government implements a strong ZEV mandate to keep the EV transition moving in the right direction!
